Nice Raw Cheesecake Recipe

20150609_023442This is the nicest Raw Cheesecake ever … (That I’ve made anyway). Created in June 2015.
Here’s what you will need.
250gm soaked organic raw Almonds. (Soak raw cashews in purified water for 24 hours, drain and put aside).
½ cup organic dates
80gm organic raisins
1 cup desiccated coconut (or as my little 5 year old friend says, ‘dedicated coconut’, don’t you just love that?)
1 drop of DoTerra cinnamon Bark essential oil
½ teaspoon Organic Vanilla Essence
1 teaspoon Agave liquid syrup or honey

Wild About Wild Orange

orangesComplete Vit CThe first time I smelt Wild Orange, I was walking into the market at Noosa Harbour, pushing a trolley with all my product piled on top.  The aroma was  intoxicating and delightful.  I knew that it was affecting me on a base level, and now that I have learned more about Wild Orange (Doterra), I know why.  There’s something about Wild Orange that affects one on an emotional level, you just can’t be miserable when you are smelling it!  Another part of me was resisting the smell because I knew, I just knew that I would be swept into another world of discovery perhaps even some change and a different perspective.  A corridor in my mind had been re-visited, a door opened, all because of a ‘scent!’  Now what does that mean for you reading this?  Read on….. garlicOkay, when I first wrote this article it was the first day of March, now its the first day of April, and I felt it was worth posting this one again.   It’s not really cold yet here on the Sunshine Coast, but it wont be long until the season changes.  In the lead up to the colder times and winter months there are great benefits to including a little garlic in our food, to help keep the colds and flu’s at bay.  There are some amazing applications and uses for Garlic from being a substitute for penicillin, to cancer prevention;  its use as an aphrodisiac, to being a tonic for old age!

Bergamot For Depression And Uplifting

Bergamot essential oil  is pressed from the rind or peel from the Botanical family – Rutaceae (citrus). Basically it looks like an unripe orange.   Green as green.   I was happy to see that aside from being an analgestic, antibacterial source, Bergamot is also helpful for infections, inflammation, spasms,  and digestive issues.  It’s neuro-protective, sedative and uplifting.  For the uplifting aspect of it, you can certainly use more Bergamot for depression and here’s why…..

The Issue Of Malabsorption

I see clients every day, I scan their bodies with NES, I look at their eyes with Iridology and I examine the many supplements and medications that they bring in with them to see me, and I can tell you sincerely that hundreds of dollars spent on vitamins, supplements and prescription drugs, can be a terrible waste of money unless you have your absorption under control.  Getting that right, that single yet profound element, can be the difference between feeling Fantastic or suffering needlessly.

Parasites – The Issues and the Cures

An increasing number of people have contacted me in relation to ‘Parasite infestations’ and so its timely to give some information that will save the day or at least enlighten you on what Parasites are about and how you can deal with them.

I have been carrying out Iridology sessions – consultations for 20 something years.  This has given me a front row seat to seeing Parasites in the body, through the eyes.  I can tell if you have them, and I can teach you how to find them and get rid of your uninvited house guests.  There is a lot of detail in the iris of the eyes, and one sure fire sign is what we Iridologists call – Radii Solaris… Bike spokes.  When they are dark lines that are thick that protrude from the pupil into the ‘colour portion of the eye’, that’s the sign that parasites are certainly living in you.  There are a few other tell tail signs, but that will do for now.  The physical symptoms are something else.

The wide ranging symptoms include itching (ears, nose, anus), gas and bloating, loss of appetite, eating more than normal but still feeling hungry, blurry vision, muscular pain, lethargy, diarrhoea, constipation, indigestion, rashes, hives, allergies, mental confusion and so on. Craving Something Sweet?

I was just craving something sweet today, which got me thinking about how that happens.  Sweet cravings are generally more likely to happen when you have not eaten much at breakfast and have been running around doing all sorts of things, and suddenly the time is flying by and it’s 2.00pm and you still haven’t eaten anything.  This was the case for me.  I knew what was happening so I went into plan A, which was to get home as quickly as possible and make something that would satisfy the sweet tooth, but feed the brain as well. Here is a really important warning about the dangers of sugar, along with an update  on the effects sugar has on your personality, and your self esteem. It’s been long agreed that excess carbohydrates throw off the body’s homeostasis (natural self-balance).  It’s also worth noting that ‘sugar’ is represented by many common foods, including bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, corn, cereals, pancakes and alcoholic drinks.  Corn syrup and fructose are also common sugars.

We are all aging as we wake up to each new day, but our aging can be graceful and kinder by being mindful of the amount of sugar that creeps into every bite of food we enjoy.  Once again, it takes a little awareness.
